Caerus Oil and Gas was formed in 2009 to invest in conventional oil and gas properties. The Company intends to invest, in a contrarian strategy, in upstream oil and gas assets. Caerus expects to significantly increase the value of acquired assets through active management of existing fields with a goal to lower costs and increase production and reserves.
In order to augment shareholder returns, Caerus intends to design a robust drilling program on acquired land which will be executed when product prices and drilling and completion costs will provide an optimal rate of return.
Caerus’ management has significant experience in operating and managing both private and public oil and gas companies. Caerus’ two founding sponsor shareholders are both well known oil and gas investors that also invest in a broad array of industries.
